Social Media Manager (Bilingual – Arabic And English)

The Role

• Lead the full onboarding and setup of a major account, defining a comprehensive 360° social media strategy, tone of voice, and governance processes
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, offering strategic guidance on digital trends and social performance
• Oversee and coordinate a dedicated team, ensuring all output from content to reporting meets the highest quality standards
• Take ownership of real-time decision-making across content and community management, particularly in high-pressure situations
• Develop and oversee high-quality Arabic content that is culturally relevant and resonates with diverse audiences
• Manage social media operations for live events, including real-time content creation, publishing, and on-ground coordination

Requirements

• Experience in social media, ideally within an agency or public sector environment
• Proven experience in a senior role managing complex or high-profile accounts (government or semi-government exposure is highly advantageous)
• Native Arabic speaker with strong professional English communication skills
• Experience working closely with senior leadership, with the confidence to present, influence, and challenge when needed
• Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage workflows, optimise processes, and drive account performance
• Hands-on experience with social listening and publishing tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Sprout Social)
