Role Description
- The Social Media Manager role at d lighting is a part time hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home arrangements.
- The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media platforms to promote the lighting blog and highlight design talent.
- Daily tasks include managing social media calendars, writing posts, optimizing content for reach and engagement, monitoring comments and messages, and responding in a professional and inclusive manner.
- The role involves analyzing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to grow audience and engagement, and collaborating with the founder or contributors to align social media activity with the blog’s themes and brand voice.
- The Social Media Manager will also stay updated on industry and platform trends to ensure d lighting maintains a strong, current presence in the lighting and visual design community.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to plan campaigns, grow audiences, and improve engagement.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, inclusive, and compelling social media posts and responses.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to develop content plans, align posts with brand goals, and maintain a consistent visual and editorial style.
- Previous experience managing social media channels for a brand, blog, or creative project is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., platform insights) and basic reporting on key performance indicators is preferred.
