We are looking for a
Social Media Coordinator
to manage our social communication support system and support the planning and execution of professional social media communication strategies.
The role focuses on delivering investment, awareness, and corporate messages in a clear, responsible, and compliant manner, in line with the regulations of the Qatari financial market.
Strategy & Governance
- Understand the company’s key investment, awareness, and corporate messages and translate them into compliant social media content.
- Ensure content aligns with QFMA requirements, disclosure policies, and rules preventing misleading promotion.
- Support the development of internal social media policies, including content approval processes, publishing guidelines, and digital crisis management.
Influencer & Activist Management
- Identify and assess credible influencers and digital activists with a strong reputation and clean digital track record.
- Evaluate their understanding of financial markets and ability to communicate responsibly.
- Prepare influencer assessment reports for management approval.
- Coordinate and negotiate with approved influencers within clear legal and compliance frameworks.
- Introduce approved influencers to the company’s platform, such as Zajel, and include them in the pricing schedule.
Coordination & Monitoring
- Coordinate with the Legal and Compliance departments.
- Review content before publication to ensure it includes appropriate disclaimers and avoids direct buy/sell recommendations.
- Monitor campaign performance with a focus on reputation, trust, and awareness — not only engagement metrics.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare regular reports for management covering content performance, influencer performance, potential risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Recommend continuous enhancements to the social media strategy in line with market developments and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in social media coordination, content management, or digital communications.
- Strong understanding of professional and compliant communication.
- Knowledge of financial markets or investment-related communication is preferred.
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
- Strong coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
