Defy Studios is looking for a Social Media Intern to join their content team, gaining hands-on experience in content creation, account management, editing, and strategy for real client accounts.

Responsibilities
- Support ideation and creation of Cinematic Reels/Brand Films, Posts, Stories, and TikTok content for client accounts
- Write captions and copy in line with each brand's voice and tone
- Assist with shoot planning and on location content production
- Help manage day to day posting schedules across Instagram and TikTok
- Monitor comments and DMs, flagging opportunities and issues to the team
- Track basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth)
- Edit short form video content (Reels/TikToks) using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar
- Prepare and format content for posting across different platforms and specs
- Support light graphic design for feed posts and Stories
- Assist in researching trends, competitors, and content ideas
- Contribute to monthly content calendars and campaign planning
- Sit in on client strategy sessions and help translate ideas into content plans
Requirements
- Genuine interest in social media, content, and digital marketing
- Comfortable using Instagram and TikTok as more than just a personal user
- Strong creative eye with ability to conceptualize visually compelling, cinematic content
- Basic video editing skills (or strong willingness to learn fast)
- Good written communication and attention to detail
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple client accounts at once

About the Role
- We're looking for a Social Media Intern to join our content team and get hands on experience across content creation, account management, editing, and strategy for real client accounts.
- This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a genuine portfolio of agency level work rather than just observe from the sidelines.
