Al-Meer Technologies is hiring an L3 SMSC Support Engineer with deep expertise in the JINNY/Enghouse messaging suite. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, platform engineering, routing optimization, and direct vendor-level issue handling for a multi-node SMSC environment.

Responsibilities
- Handle all L3 escalations for SMSC, MPUs, SIU, JMR/JFE/JRE, JSR, WAP, MGW, VSMS, MMSC
- Perform advanced debugging, log analysis, core dumps, protocol traces (SMPP, SIGTRAN, MAP)
- Manage routing tables, filtering rules, SMPP configs, IN charging integration, and international SMS flows
- Lead upgrades, patches, DR drills, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Work directly with Enghouse/JINNY TAC for complex issues and bug fixes
- Support integrations with IN, VAS, enterprise SMPP clients, and international hubs
Requirements
- Mandatory hands on experience with JINNY/Enghouse SMSC (5+ years)
- Strong knowledge of SMPP 3.4, SS7/SIGTRAN (M3UA/SCCP/MAP), routing, filtering, TPS optimization
- Linux (RHEL/CentOS), tcpdump/wireshark, scripting for automation
- Experience in HA/clustered telecom environments
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom/Computer Engineering
- Proven L3 level troubleshooting and platform ownership
