Job Requirements

  • At Quest Global, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible.
  • We bring together technologies and industries, alongside diverse individuals, to solve problems better and faster.

Key Responsibilities Solution Deployment & Model Enablement

  • Support end to end deployment and operationalization of AVEVA predictive analytics and asset performance solutions across customer facilities.
  • Provide static equipment and integrity engineering subject matter expertise during asset onboarding, solution configuration, and model development phases.
  • Work closely with analytics, data science, product, and delivery teams to ensure predictive models accurately reflect equipment operating behaviour, degradation mechanisms, process conditions, inspection strategies, failure modes and operating envelopes.
  • Support asset criticality assessments, use case definition, and identification of high value monitoring opportunities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, piping systems, and associated static assets.
  • Participate in model validation, alert tuning, calibration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities prior to go live.
  • Correlate predictive model outputs with operational and integrity data including fouling trends, pressure drop analysis, temperature profiles, inspection findings, thickness measurements, and historical maintenance and failure records.
  • Validate model outputs against known equipment behaviour and operating conditions to improve model accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide engineering input to support expansion of predictive monitoring coverage to additional static assets and facilities.

Key Responsibilities Predictive Monitoring, Sustainment & Value Realization

  • Monitor and manage predictive anomaly alerts for deployed static equipment assets.
  • Assess alert severity, validate operational impact, and recommend appropriate prioritization and corrective actions.
  • Identify early indicators of fouling, wall thinning, pressure losses, thermal degradation, integrity deterioration, and process performance deviations.
  • Recommend proactive inspection, cleaning, repair, and operational intervention strategies prior to failures or shutdowns.
  • Collaborate with customer maintenance, inspection, operations, process, and reliability teams to plan and execute corrective and preventive activities.
  • Review, validate, and operationalize AI/analytics driven recommendations generated through deployed AVEVA solutions.
  • Support Risk Based Inspection (RBI), integrity management, and static equipment reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure predictive models remain aligned with actual operating conditions, inspection strategies, and asset behaviour throughout the sustainment lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary technical focal point during sustainment and managed service phases for assigned static equipment asset portfolios.
  • Support continuous improvement, model refinement, and enhancement of predictive monitoring effectiveness.
  • Track and report reliability and value realization KPIs including deferred failures, avoided shutdowns, reduced maintenance costs, improved equipment availability, and inspection optimization benefits.
  • Participate in governance meetings, technical reviews, workshops, and value realization sessions with customer stakeholders and project teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of static equipment engineering experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, or industrial environments.
  • Strong background in inspection engineering, maintenance engineering, or asset integrity management within operating facilities.
  • Expertise in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, piping systems, tanks, and associated static assets.
  • Familiarity with API 510, API 570, API 579, and integrity assessment methodologies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of degradation mechanisms, inspection strategies, and operational reliability practices.
  • Experience interpreting operational and integrity data from SCADA, PI Historian / OSIsoft, or equivalent industrial systems.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics platforms, industrial AI systems, or digital reliability solutions preferred.
  • Middle East or GCC operating environment experience preferred.

Preferred Certifications

  • API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector
  • API 570 – Piping Inspector
  • API 579 / Fitness for Service exposure preferred
  • RBI or integrity management certifications preferred

Preferred Industry Experience

  • Oil & Gas operators in the Middle East region
  • Upstream production facilities
  • Offshore operations
  • Gas processing plants
  • Refineries and petrochemical facilities
  • LNG and industrial energy operations

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Static equipment integrity and reliability management
  • Inspection planning and degradation assessment
  • Predictive maintenance and integrity analytics
  • Risk Based Inspection (RBI)
  • Failure analysis and troubleshooting
  • Operational data interpretation and analytics validation
  • Technical governance and stakeholder engagement
