The Role at High Level

  • We’re looking for a talented SMB Account Executive who doesn’t shy away from tackling hard problems and interesting subjects like payroll and HR technology.
  • This position offers salary plus commission based on sales metrics and revenue.
  • You will identify new prospects from relationships built from accountants, referrals, business partners, and direct B2B sales campaigns.
  • You will report directly to our Sales Manager.

Compensation

  • Base salary of CAD 60,000 with CAD 50,000 in target variable compensation, for an on target earning of CAD 110,000.
  • Commissions are uncapped and paid monthly based on achievement against target.

What You'll Be Expected To Own

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Achieve and surpass monthly quotas in a high velocity sales environment.
  • Own the End to End Sales Cycle: From new lead to actively using our product, guiding the customer and collaborating with our onboarding and risk teams.
  • Be a Partner to our Clients: Become an expert on our product and the industry so you can advise our clients and develop high trust.
  • Be Endlessly Curious: Always look to more deeply understand every client and see challenges as an opportunity to grow.
  • Invest in yourself: Daily look to grow by reading, listening to podcasts, learning from your peers and teammates.
  • Thrive in Ambiguity: Change is a constant as we look to grow quickly and as such you will need to be prepared to change with it.
  • Deliver for the Team: Go above and beyond to not just deliver against your own goals but support team and company initiatives.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Previous SMB sales experience, ideally within payroll software or SaaS.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • An ability to sell on value vs features and functions.
  • Experience thriving in a fast paced SaaS environment.
  • A deep sense of curiosity and desire to grow.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage opportunities and communications.
  • A customer focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

  • You have experience using HubSpot CRM.
  • You bring a high EQ, strong work ethic, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • You excel in a remote work environment, demonstrating productivity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
