Orion Group is looking for a Transport Site Supervisor to manage and supervise company vehicles and drivers at project sites. The role involves coordinating daily activities, conducting vehicle inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety rules. Experience in vehicle/fleet operations and transpo
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of drivers and company vehicles at the site.
- Monitor vehicle availability, allocation, movement, and utilization.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are maintained in safe operating condition.
- Coordinate with the workshop and maintenance team regarding vehicle breakdowns, repairs, and servicing.
- Ensure drivers follow company, client, and site safety rules and procedures.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, discipline, and compliance.
- Maintain daily vehicle and driver records, checklists, and reports.
- Handle vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and other operational issues and coordinate timely solutions.
- Ensure vehicles are available and ready for daily operations.
- Coordinate with clients and operations teams regarding vehicle requirements and site activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle/fleet supervision or transportation operations at site.
