Site Reliability Engineering Specialist

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong hands-on experience operating and supporting enterprise-scale AWS cloud environments.
• Demonstrable experience with:
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon EC2
• Amazon Fargate
• Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL / RDS
• Amazon S3
• Amazon DynamoDB
• AWS ElastiCache (Redis)
• Amazon CloudWatch
• Amazon Sagemaker
• AWS Step Functions
• AWS IAM
• Apache Airflow
• Strong experience of supporting data analytics workloads and orchestration processes for large volume data ingestion, enrichment, aggregation and schema validation.
• Experience supporting highly available cloud services in 24x7 production environments.
• Understanding of observability tooling, distributed tracing and proactive monitoring.
• GitOps experience with Gitlab CI/CD, SonarQube, Harbor and Nexus.
• Strong understanding of networking, VPCs, load balancing, DNS and security controls.
• Experience with Linux administration and containerised platforms.
