Role Overview
Join the Core Infrastructure team as a Site Reliability Engineer I supporting PagerDuty's real-time digital operations platform.
Build and operate foundational network, compute, and ingress infrastructure that supports millions of events and alerts daily.
Help improve platform reliability, scalability, and security as PagerDuty expands across products, regions, and customer use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve networking, compute platforms, Kubernetes clusters, and ingress or traffic management systems.
- Harden existing systems and support the rollout of new infrastructure capabilities.
- Participate in standups, planning, retrospectives, and early communication of progress and risks.
- Monitor system health using metrics, logs, and alerts.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to detect, respond to, and resolve incidents.
- Stay current on technical trends and suggest innovative tools and approaches.
Basic Qualifications
- 0 to 1+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience operating Linux-based systems in production environments.
