Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using Ansible orchestration, Shell, and Python.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support AWS cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS knowledge is an advantage).
• Monitor platform health, performance, and availability using observability tools.
• Participate in production support, incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability improvements plans.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Database, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure and reliable releases.
• Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and automation standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Strong Linux administration and Shell scripting skills.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on exposure to Cloud services.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Shell and Python.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch or similar.
• Understanding of networking basics, production operations, and high-availability environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect Associate or Kubernetes certification is a plus.
