The Site Reliability Engineer will develop, operate and continuously improve critical compliance monitoring and security data platforms.

The role combines software engineering, cloud infrastructure, database management and operational excellence.

Deliver reliability improvements through automation, observability and engineering best practices.
Support CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation.
Reduce operational toil and improve platform reliability across the Security Data & AI Lab estate.
Improve the security, resilience, performance and availability of critical services.

Experience supporting Oracle Database, IBM DB2, SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong SQL skills in query optimisation, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Experience monitoring database health, utilisation, availability and performance.
Understanding of backup, recovery, replication and disaster recovery processes.
