Responsibilities
- Control and lead the onsite teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure day to day operations on site run smoothly
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Issue directives to correct defective works and ensure stop payment of Vendor is in place until resolved
- Ensure work is planned and executed according to established timelines
- Proactively resolve build issues, liaising with clients
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
- Ensure high standard of finish on all Homes and defect free at handover
- Ensure all work is performed to highest standard, adhering to company policies and industry regulations
- Ensure high standards of WHS compliance on site
- Comply with responsibilities under current Work Health and Safety legislation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a building supervisor
- Industry experience with significant exposure to trades, suppliers and clients
- General Construction Induction Course / White Card (mandatory)
- Asbestos & Silica Awareness Certificate (mandatory)
- Current First Aid training
- Hold a valid Australian driver's licence (mandatory)
- Ability to communicate professionally
- High level of attention to detail and proactive approach
- Problem solving and working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and conflict resolution skills
