About the Role
The role is for a Senior Infrastructure, Roads, and Underground Services Engineer within the Programme Management Business Group.
The position provides project management and construction supervision services and supports the Project Manager or Resident Engineer.
The engineer administers day-to-day infrastructure, road, drainage, and underground utility activities on the project.
Construction and Technical Responsibilities
- Assist the Package Lead with construction duties on site.
- Lead technical reviews and construction supervision for roads, civil infrastructure, drainage, and underground services.
- Review design submissions, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, and technical queries.
- Review road geometry, pavement design and rehabilitation, road networks, grading, traffic management, and road safety requirements.
- Review potable water, fire water, sewerage, drainage, stormwater, irrigation, duct bank, cable corridor, and telecommunications networks.
- Review utility corridors, service crossings, diversions, and interfaces with existing and proposed infrastructure.
- Review site grading, earthworks, surface-water management, and flood-mitigation requirements.
