Role Overview
Frijns Middle East is recruiting a Site HSSE Manager for a full-time, site-based role in Mesaieed, Qatar.
The role oversees Health, Safety, Security and Environmental matters on a construction project and leads a team of safety officers.
The manager serves as the HSSE focal point for the client and interfaces with subcontractors, inspectors and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure site induction participation and deliver inductions when necessary.
- Develop and participate in HSSE training, toolbox talks and competency activities.
- Administer HSSE audits and inspections and monitor subcontractor HSSE programmes.
- Conduct daily inspections and ensure compliance with safe working practices.
- Review risk assessments, Go/No-Go workshops, method statements, JSAs and lifting plans.
- Lead weekly HSSE meetings and contribute to project progress meetings.
