Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, workers, and site engineers.
• Monitor construction quality, progress, materials, and pending works.
• Assist with civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related site activities.
• Identify issues and communicate them to the project architect or senior team.
• Maintain progress updates, measurements, quantity checks, and documentation.
• Follow up with contractors and workers to meet planned timelines.
• Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and coordination.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field.
• Freshers are welcome; zero to two years of site experience is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Ability to read architectural and construction drawings.
• Good communication, coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to and work at project sites.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility for site execution.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence are an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹15,000 to ₹18,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work is performed in person at project sites in Ambattur, Chennai.
