Role Overview
The role is Site Engineer – PEB / Structural Steel and is based at project sites.
The position focuses on structural steel erection, site execution, coordination, quality, safety, and project handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise PEB and structural steel erection according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor installation of columns, rafters, purlins, bracing, sheeting, roofing, and other steel components.
- Check alignment, levels, dimensions, bolt connections, and structural stability during erection.
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, design, project management, clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Manage site workers and erection teams and monitor progress against the planned schedule.
- Conduct quality inspections and resolve technical or execution issues.
- Maintain daily site, progress, material, inspection, measurement, and project documentation records.
- Coordinate material unloading, storage, movement, and the use of tools, equipment, cranes, and lifting arrangements.
- Implement PPE and safe working practices and support timely project completion and handover.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of PEB, structural steel erection, and industrial shed construction.
- Ability to read and understand GA, fabrication, and erection drawings.
