Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilitiessite Operations
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities.
- Monitor progress and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Allocate tasks and manage site workforce effectively.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment deliveries.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Enforce health and safety regulations and company safety procedures.
- Conduct site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
- Ensure all workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Quality Control
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship and materials used on-site.
- Report defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Project Coordination
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and clients.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
- Resolve site issues and escalate major concerns when necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain daily site reports and records.
- Track labor, materials, and equipment usage.
- Report progress, delays, and resource requirements.
- Ensure site documentation is accurate and up to date.
