Responsibilities
- Oversee civil works at the project site, including monitoring construction activities
- Ensure designs are implemented accurately and verify compliance with engineering standards and local regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
- Review drawings and specifications and resolve technical issues that arise during construction
- Plan and schedule civil works, inspect site conditions, and support stormwater management and drainage solutions
- Prepare progress reports and documentation
- Promote safety, quality control, and efficient resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering, including Civil Engineering Design and applied site engineering principles
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in an on site environment
- Skills in Planning and coordinating civil works, with the ability to manage schedules and resources effectively
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related infrastructure design and implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations in Qatar or the Gulf region
- Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design and drafting tools)
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices on construction sites

Role Description
- This full time Site Civil Engineer role is based on site in Al Rayyan, Qatar.
