Role Overview
The Site Architect works under the Programme Management Business Group to provide project management and construction supervision services.
The role supports the Project Manager or Resident Engineer in administering day-to-day project operations.
Architectural Coordination
- Lead architectural coordination with other disciplines and support contractual duties on site.
- Develop, modify, review, correct, and update architectural production drawings, construction documents, and design information.
- Advise the Project Manager on architectural and interior issues affecting progress, quality, cost, safety, or programme.
- Provide practical resolutions to architectural and multidisciplinary technical issues.
Submittals and Documentation
- Review and process design documents, prequalification submissions, material proposals, shop drawings, method statements, construction drawings, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
- Review contractor shop drawings against approved design and tender drawings using BIM to verify clash-free compliance.
- Review proposed materials and subcontractors and advise the Project Manager on suitability and compliance.
- Process architectural contract documents and related contract administration activities.
