Your responsibilities will include
- Develop pre- and post-processing software tools used within the simulation teams.
- Develop process workflows to ensure FEA and CFD simulations run efficiently and consistently.
- Work closely with simulation engineers to deliver accurate results, report automation, and job monitoring.
- Investigate and deliver workflows for new simulation techniques, including AI and improved physics models.
- Maintain a clean code base including standard branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborating closely with all the technical teams to deliver world-class engineering solutions
- Gaining direct exposure to the 2027 Formula 1 season and contributing to the future of Red Bull Powertrains

Expected knowledge, experience & attributes of the successful candidates
Knowledge and experience from at least one year of undergraduate study on either an engineering, mathematics or physics degree course
A solid understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply mathematical methods to solve real-world problems
Familiarity with engineering software such as CAD, FEA, CFD
Experience with Python, C++, MATLAB of other similar programming languages
Familiar using Linux and command line applications
Ability to follow best practice and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment
Ability to break complex technical problems down to fundamental principles and understand the contributing physics
Ability to demonstrate a genuine passion for engineering through involvement in extra-curricular projects, previous placements, or work experience
