SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Interprofessional Simulation Center Director; Associate Provost & Dean for the College of Health
POSITION SUMMARY: The entry-level Simulation Operations Technician provides essential technical support for simulation operations and technology, including preparation, maintenance, and repair of high/low fidelity manikins and associated software.
This role also involves supervising students using the simulation labs during open lab hours, center tours, and performing administrative activities under the guidance of the Interprofessional Simulation Center Director at Moravian University.
The technician is responsible for setting up and taking down simulations, following the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) Standards of Best Practice.
This is a 12-month, part-time position that may require evening and/or weekend shifts.

Associate or higher educational degree preferred.
Simulation laboratory and/or audiovisual equipment experience in a clinically based health care environment.
Understanding of patient care simulation technologies and applications.
Computer literacy (word-processing, spreadsheets and databases).
