Simulation Application Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions that support scheduling, video recording management, automated audio announcements, and other operational needs of simulation centres.
• Analyze business requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement innovative solutions that integrate effectively with existing systems and workflows.
• Develop and maintain secure applications and data processes in compliance with organizational data governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure software reliability, performance, and compatibility with existing functionality.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support end-user adoption and system effectiveness.
• Manage Amazon Web Services Simple Storage Service ( AWS S3) storage access and policies, conduct access audits, and maintain current expertise in software development, emerging technologies, and project management best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field plus a minimum of three years’ relevant (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications using Python and modern software development practices.
• Experience integrating applications with application programming interfaces (APIs), databases, local file systems, and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy, access management, and data governance principles.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to gather business requirements and develop technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
