The Sim Lab Assistant assists the Sim Lab Manager and faculty with sim labs specific to clinical nursing courses. This role assists students with practicing sim lab skills and tutor students.
This position works in simulation laboratories, skills labs, and clinical learning environments and requires interaction with simulation technologies, audiovisual systems, and healthcare training equipment.
Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of simulation activities by preparing rooms, equipment, supplies, and manikin moulage according to scenario design and faculty requirements.
Operate high-fidelity manikins, task trainers, audiovisual (AV) systems, and other simulation-related technologies during scheduled sessions.
Provide in-person and remote technical support during simulation events to ensure smooth operation and continuity.
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of high-fidelity manikins, task trainers, AV systems, and other simulation equipment under the guidance of the Sim Lab Director/Manager.

Assist with tracking equipment readiness through documentation and inventory procedures.
