Role Overview
Support the design, analysis, and validation of high-speed package and board designs.
Collaborate across silicon and systems teams to deliver robust and manufacturable products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis for high-speed package, PCB, and system-level designs.
- Conduct 2D and 3D electromagnetic simulations to evaluate interconnect performance and mitigate crosstalk, impedance, and loss.
- Analyze power distribution networks, including power-plane design, decoupling strategies, and IR-drop analysis.
- Execute frequency-domain and time-domain simulations for high-speed interfaces.
- Perform channel simulations and system-level analysis using ADS and HSpice.
- Support design reviews, layout guidance, and engineering change order cycles with SI/PI recommendations.
- Correlate simulation results with laboratory measurements and debug SI/PI issues.
- Develop technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with PCB layout, hardware, packaging, and validation teams.
Qualifications
- Strong fundamentals in electromagnetics, transmission lines, and microwave theory.
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS HFSS, SI-Wave, or Cadence Power-SI electromagnetic simulation tools.
- Experience with ADS, HSpice, and IBIS or Spice model analysis.
