Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create accurate forms for concrete pouring, ensuring precision in dimensions and angles.
- Select and prepare wood, metal, and plastic materials to build frameworks that can withstand the weight of wet concrete.
- Construct and install shuttering systems with structural integrity to hold concrete until it sets.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers on deadlines and specifications for timely project completion.
Requirements
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate concrete formwork dimensions and angles.
- Ability to select and prepare wood, metal, and plastic materials for shuttering construction.
- Knowledge of constructing shuttering systems that can withstand the weight of wet concrete.
