Role Overview
The role conducts plant inspection and quality control for pressure equipment, piping, valves, steel structures, and related fabrication or maintenance activities.
Inspection work is performed at plant and contractor facilities and supports shutdown, maintenance, fabrication, and repair activities.
Responsibilities
- Inspect pressure vessels, piping, valves, and steel structures.
- Perform welding, material, PMI, NDT, hydrotest, coating, and dimensional inspections.
- Review QA/QC documents and Material Test Certificates.
- Witness testing activities.
- Prepare inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Support shutdown, maintenance, fabrication, and repair activities at plant and contractor facilities.
Requirements
- Experience conducting plant QA/QC inspections covering pressure vessels, piping, valves, steel structures, welding, materials, testing, coating, and dimensional checks.
