Role Overview
The employer is seeking a WordPress and Shopify Developer with 1–1.5 years of hands-on experience developing, customizing, and maintaining websites and e-commerce stores.
The role covers responsive design, performance, theme customization, plugins, integrations, troubleshooting, and basic website maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
- Customize WordPress themes, page builders, and plugins according to project requirements.
- Set up and manage Shopify stores, themes, products, collections, menus, and basic settings.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, and WordPress plugins.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across browsers and devices.
- Integrate plugins, apps, payment gateways, forms, and marketing tools.
- Manage website content, images, products, and other digital assets.
- Perform updates, backups, security checks, and basic maintenance.
- Optimize websites for speed, usability, SEO, and mobile performance.
- Resolve bugs, layout issues, plugin conflicts, and other technical problems.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, test websites before deployment, and maintain change documentation.
