Northern Mat & Bridge is seeking a Shop Hand Attendant to join our Maintenance team. This role is responsible for keeping equipment, the shop, and the yard clean and organized while supporting wash bay operations, equipment readiness, and parts transportation activities for the Clairmont shop and yard.

Wash and clean pickup trucks, commercial trucks, and heavy equipment.
Inspect equipment in the yard and move units in and out of the wash bay to support equipment cleanliness and job readiness.
Report visible equipment damage or maintenance concerns to the Shop Foreman.
Assist with sump cleanouts.
Support wash bay operations and assist with minor leak repairs to help ensure equipment and facilities remain operational.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all applicable safety procedures.
Complete general shop and yard cleanup and maintenance duties.
Transport company trucks and complete parts pickups and drop-offs within the local area.
Provide professional customer service when interacting with suppliers and service providers.
Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous washing, detailing, shop, yard, or labour experience is considered an asset.
Experience operating trucks, equipment, or working in an industrial environment is considered an asset.
Experience maintaining a safe and organized work area is beneficial.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required.
Driver's abstract that meets company insurance requirements.
Standard First Aid certification is considered an asset.
Skid steer certification is considered an asset.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
