Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Shisha Supervisor / Lounge to oversee daily lounge operations and coordinate service teams.
The role focuses on guest experience, service quality, safety, inventory control, staff coordination, and organized venue operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise lounge and shisha-service operations, allocate duties, and monitor staff performance during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate attendants, shisha staff, servers, runners, and other service personnel.
- Manage guest seating, reservations, special requests, complaints, service issues, events, private bookings, and VIP arrangements.
- Monitor service quality, presentation, cleanliness, timing, guest satisfaction, and expected guest volumes.
- Ensure approved shisha preparation, handling, hygiene, ventilation, fire-safety, and responsible-service procedures are followed.
- Monitor supplies, conduct stock checks, report shortages or discrepancies, and coordinate replenishment.
- Maintain inventory, consumption, wastage, breakage, shift, incident, and service records.
- Check furniture, equipment, serving items, ventilation systems, and service areas, and report faults or maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with restaurant, bar, reception, security, maintenance, housekeeping, and event teams.
- Support POS and payment procedures, staff onboarding, coaching, product knowledge, and service standards.
- Monitor compliance with venue policies and applicable UAE hospitality, health, safety, smoking, shisha, and age-restriction requirements.
