Shipyard Production Supervisor / Control Account Manager (CAM) – Compartment Closeout

Maintain compartment status within production tracking systems

Align execution progress with program milestones (e.g., major system installs, structural completions)

Validate milestone achievability based on actual field conditions

Support schedule accuracy by providing real-time production updates to planning teams

Maintain accurate, up-to-date status of compartment completion

Track current progress, prior accomplishments, and remaining scope

Communicate status clearly to leadership, including risks and recovery actions

Ensure reporting reflects actual field conditions—not assumptions

Ensure compartments progress toward closeout in the correct sequence

Prevent premature closure of compartments with incomplete work or open deficiencies

Verify required work is complete prior to insulation, decking, or structural closure

Coordinate completion of all trades to support clean, compliant closeout

Identify gaps in coordination, communication, and execution workflows

Improve alignment between subcontractors, trades, and shipyard supervision

Establish repeatable processes that improve efficiency across compartments and future vessels

Drive continuous improvement in production execution and reporting

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to access and inspect all areas of machinery.

Understanding of shipyard construction sequencing and compartment-based execution

Familiarity with structural, piping, HVAC, electrical, and outfitting installation practices

Ability to interpret drawings, work packages, and production plans

Experience working with production schedules and milestone tracking

Ability to translate field progress into schedule updates and forecasts

Familiarity with production tracking systems and/or Primavera P6 (preferred)

Strong coordination and communication skills across multiple stakeholders

Ability to drive accountability with subcontractors and shipyard personnel

High attention to detail with disciplined follow-through

Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving production environments

5+ years of experience in shipbuilding, vessel construction, or production environments

Experience in production supervision, coordination, or execution management

Proven ability to track work scope, monitor progress, and support schedule alignment

Experience working onboard vessels in active construction environments

Experience operating in a Control Account Manager (CAM) or EVMS-aligned role

Compartment closeout, outfitting, or zone-based construction experience

Aluminum vessel construction experience

Experience supporting multi-vessel or serial production programs
