What is the day to day like for Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Handling inventory functions within an ERP (enterprise resource planning) system.
Physically pull parts from inventory
Issue parts to the production floor
Pack and ship parts through UPS or FedEx
Process inbound domestic shipments
Route parts manufactured internally
Use a forklift and pallet jack for material movement
Taking phone calls and providing status of deliveries
Multitasking with shipments and internal customer needs
What you need for this job
The confidence and ability to organize received products in a timely manner
The ability to tolerate interruptions and get back on track quickly
Some basic commercial transaction knowledge is helpful (purchase orders, invoicing)
Ability to use Microsoft Windows and a computer
One year of warehouse experience is preferred
Ability to move up to fifty pounds occasionally
High school diploma or general equivalence degree (GED)
