Role overview
This is a full-time, permanent Shipping and Logistics Coordinator position.
The role is open to experienced shipping or warehouse coordinators.
Training will be provided.
Location and work environment
- The role is based at a new GMP R&D facility in Melbourne CBD.
- The position works across warehouse, storage, and loading-bay environments.
- Warehouse activities must comply with OH&S and GMP requirements.
Shipping and transport
- Coordinate routine and ad hoc domestic and international shipments of GxP and non-GxP materials.
- Coordinate transport, pre-packing, receiving, and packing of materials and samples.
- Check transport companies against shipping requirements before dispatch.
- Process bookings and coordinate courier deliveries to meet delivery times and customer needs.
Warehouse and inventory
- Support GMP transit storage facilities, inventories, and compliant warehouse distribution activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stocktaking, and inventory controls.
- Ensure correct storage and handling of dangerous goods and ambient or cold-chain items.
