Role Overview
The Shipping & Logistics Associate processes and coordinates daily LTL and ground shipments.
The role operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires accuracy, productivity, dependability, and safety awareness.
Responsibilities
- Process and coordinate a high volume of daily LTL and ground shipments.
- Prepare shipping documents, labels, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork.
- Coordinate with carriers and Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.
- Review orders and shipping requirements before staging and loading.
- Package, label, stage, and prepare products for transportation.
- Prioritize shipments based on customer requirements, carrier schedules, and shipping procedures.
- Identify and communicate shortages, damages, discrepancies, and other shipping issues.
- Maintain an organized shipping area and support warehouse responsibilities as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow required safety procedures.
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and resolution of shipping errors and delayed deliveries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Three to five years of warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics experience is preferred.
