Shipping Coordinator

Assists Logistics Manager with daily management of the product shipment cycle from carrier scheduling through loading and shipment. Tactical responsibilities include:

A good reputation and relationship with carriers

Prompt loading

Accurate paperwork and billing

Development of the most cost effective options

Front line management of Shipping and Logistics hourly personnel

Organization and maintenance of the finished goods warehouse.

A high degree of inventory accuracy to include frequent cycle counts

Minimal handling damage and follow-up on any issues

Efficient loading capability and tracking of load times

Leadership of the shipping team
