Role Overview
The Shipping Coordinator executes and supports daily shipping and staging activities for domestic and international shipments.
The role supports timely, accurate, and compliant processing while meeting operational targets and maintaining shipment accuracy.
The position requires SAP knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and coordinate domestic and international shipments according to company procedures and timelines.
- Monitor daily shipping and staging activities to support accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Use SAP for shipping transactions and maintain accurate shipment records.
- Meet daily operational targets and support shipping performance objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure shipment accuracy.
- Provide backup support, contribute to cross-functional coverage, and support cross-training.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Perform physical shipping tasks including standing, walking, and lifting materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on shipping or warehouse experience may be considered as an equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge of SAP and shipping-related transactions.
- Understanding of shipping and staging processes, including international shipment handling.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication, reliability, and adaptability.
Compensation
- Salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 CAD, excluding benefits; the compensation cadence is not specified.
