Role Overview
Element5 is hiring a Shipping Assistant, Freight Assistant, or Dispatch Assistant to support shipping administration, freight coordination, dispatch scheduling, shipment tracking, and transportation documentation.
The role is part-time and fully remote, with flexible working hours and exposure to local and international logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day shipping, freight, and dispatch administration.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, delivery information, freight details, tracking numbers, and transportation documentation.
- Coordinate bookings, dispatch schedules, pickup arrangements, delivery timelines, and carrier requirements.
- Prepare delivery notes, packing lists, shipping instructions, freight records, and related documents.
- Verify shipment details including products, quantities, weights, dimensions, destinations, addresses, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers, couriers, suppliers, warehouses, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor shipment status, delays, exceptions, delivery progress, and outstanding transportation requirements.
- Track shipments through carrier portals, logistics platforms, spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems.
- Review freight charges, shipping invoices, delivery records, and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Prepare shipment summaries, dispatch reports, delivery trackers, freight schedules, and routine logistics updates.
