Key Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping, freight, and dispatch administration.
- Coordinate shipment bookings, pickup arrangements, dispatch schedules, delivery timelines, and carrier requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipment, tracking, delivery, freight, and transportation records.
- Prepare delivery notes, packing lists, shipping instructions, freight records, and delivery confirmations.
- Verify shipment quantities, weights, dimensions, destinations, addresses, reference numbers, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers, couriers, transportation providers, suppliers, warehouses, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor shipment statuses, pickup schedules, delivery progress, delays, exceptions, and outstanding transportation requirements.
- Track shipments using carrier portals, logistics platforms, tracking systems, spreadsheets, and internal databases.
- Follow up on delayed shipments, missing documents, delivery changes, and dispatch requirements.
