EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work independently • Must be punctual and reliable • Ability to follow instructions • Be willing and able to successfully complete training deemed appropriate for the position • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English • Ability to speak French an asset • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) • Good knowledge of all Health and Safety policies and procedure and understanding of safe work practices • Strong communication and organizational skills • Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work well with others • Propane fork lift experience • WHMIS training
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Most of the work takes place in the warehouse and requires frequent usage of required PPE including safety boots, gloves, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs.
