Shift Operations Manager

We’re looking for a Shift Operations Manager who enjoys leading people and getting things done. You’ll be confident managing a busy shift, setting clear expectations and supporting your team to deliver against service, quality and productivity targets.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in an operations, retail, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, hospitality or customer-focused environment, with previous responsibility for supervising or managing a team. You’ll be comfortable working with performance data, identifying opportunities to improve and taking action when standards or targets are not being met.

You’ll need excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues across the business. You’ll be practical, resilient and confident dealing with challenges, while keeping your team informed and motivated throughout the shift.

Experience of workforce planning, stock or resource management, health and safety procedures and continuous improvement would be useful. Most importantly, you’ll have a ‘can do’ attitude, a hands-on approach and a genuine interest in helping people and operations succeed.

Our operations teams are at the heart of delivering a great experience for our customers and colleagues. As a Shift Operations Manager, you’ll help bring people together, coordinate activity and make sure our standards are maintained from the start of the shift through to handover.

You’ll lead by example, recognise great performance and provide coaching and support where it’s needed. You’ll also work closely with other departments to share information, resolve issues and contribute to improvements that make our ways of working more effective.
