About the role
The Shift Operations Manager is responsible for delivery of the site production plan at the Blackpool bakery.
The role focuses on safe, competent people, continuous improvement, high performance, site budgets, and customer satisfaction.
People responsibilities
- Manage labour standards and overtime in line with budget.
- Ensure people are trained to run lines efficiently and meet legal requirements.
- Complete risk assessments, safety inspections, and accident investigations to the required standard and timescales.
Performance responsibilities
- Complete daily start-up checks and process control sheets.
- Ensure quality paperwork and records are accurate and correct.
- Execute the production plan and monitor efficiency, waste, and TOS against targets.
Customer and plant standards
- Keep the plant ready for audits.
- Manage plant hygiene standards.
