Job Purpose
Lead and manage the operations team while overseeing daily data centre activities.
Develop operational policies, ensure compliance, support technology implementation, manage the operational budget, and provide leadership during critical incidents.
Operational Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day data centre operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the development and management of the operational budget.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and analyse operational data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in capacity expansion and infrastructure upgrade planning and execution.
- Lead response and resolution efforts during critical incidents and emergencies.
- Provide regular operational performance updates to stakeholders.
- Champion digital and AI advancements to support innovation and competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 6-12 years of experience managing shift operations in data centres.
