Key tasks

Qualifications and training

• Candidates will ideally be educated to HNC/BTEC/NVQ level or above in an Engineering discipline, or will possess equivalent practical experience. Semiconductor equipment training / experience of a Production MES system would be beneficial.

Skills and experience

• Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment (or an environment that demonstrates the ability to work cross-functionally and at pace)
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage own time and workload using excellent organisational skills
• Ability to systematically fault-find on complex equipment
• Working as part of a team and to work alone using own initiative
• Able to create guidance notes for maintenance tasks to be performed
• Knowledge of semiconductor tools and processes (advantage)
• Knowledge of ESD protocol and 5S methodology (advantage)
• Experience with Chemical and Gas Systems (advantage)
• Experience working on HV and LV Systems (advantage)
• Experience of Robotics and PLC Systems (advantage)
• Experience on Vacuum Process Systems (advantage)
• Extensive use of Hand Tools and Test Equipment (advantage)
