Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the operation of the hotel’s electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other engineering systems during the assigned shift.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, equipment breakdowns, and urgent engineering issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate corrective maintenance to ensure the timely resolution of technical problems.
- Conduct regular inspections of plant rooms, equipment, public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house areas.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure scheduled tasks are completed properly.
- Monitor critical equipment and report any abnormal conditions, failures, or safety concerns to the Engineering management.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments regarding maintenance requests and operational requirements.
- Ensure guest-related engineering issues are handled promptly and professionally to minimize disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, inspections, and shift handovers.
- Support the proper operation of HVAC, electrical, water supply, fire and life safety, and other building systems .
- Assist external contractors and service providers during maintenance, inspections, and technical works.
- Ensure all engineering activities are carried out in accordance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations .
- Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate all pending issues and critical matters to the incoming shift.
- Support energy and utility monitoring initiatives and report unusual consumption or equipment performance.
- Perform any other engineering duties assigned by the Chief Engineer or Engineering Management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering .
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply ; 0–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
