Position Title
Shift Engineer - Electrical
Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
To achieve the Zero breakdowns to defined production target complying to the defined parameters in shift for the 55MW,66 MW and 120 MW.
Smooth operations of all electrical equipment & its auxiliary, maintain all parameter related to all elect. Equipment.
Key Individual Accountabilities
Coordinate with Field Engineer and Field electrician of caustic soda plant 1&2 & power plant & process plant DCS engineer for any electrical equipment operation & maintenance.
Monitor and control electrical parameters through SCADA & Local control panel. And take corrective action wherever required in order to ensure that the plant is running as per the pre-defined procedures.
Maintain all GEB parameter MW/MVA/MVAr/PF as per guideline.
Maintain all power & auxiliary transformer running parameter.
Maintain all 48MW, 60MW and 120 MW Generator parameter MW/MVAr/PF, wdg. Temp, Brg. Temp etc.
Maintaining RE power schedule
Conditioning & monitoring of all electrical equipment.
Isolate respective electrical equipment which is in taken for maintenance & Permit took for it & also LOTO provided for Safety of person..
