Shift Charge Engineer

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or a related field. Relevant certifications in power plant operation or management are an asset.
• Experience: Around 8 years years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role; specific experience in combined cycle plants is preferred. Siemens GT based CCGT experience is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of combined cycle power generation processes, including a solid grasp of regulatory considerations and contractual obligations under a PPA.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Physical and Other Requirements:
• - Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, capable of managing emergency situations effectively.
• - Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
