Shelter Program Director

Ensure dignity in service delivery through best-practice models like trauma-informed care and strength-based case management.

Maintain high standards with quality assurance measures and compliance with shelter policies and practices.

Address emerging needs of shelter guests, emphasizing housing and economic justice.

Provide de-escalation, crisis intervention, and conflict mediation as needed.

Supervision: Supervise Residential Services Supervisor, Residential Life Supervisor, and Residential Youth Coordinator. Ensure adequate staffing coverage, including after-hours and on-call support. Plan and facilitate regular training and development for staff and stakeholders. Manage hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and evaluation of shelter program staff.
