Shawarma Chef And Shawarma Maker
We are hiring an experienced Shawarma Chef / Shawarma Maker for our food production facility in Dubai.
Our concept specializes in Iraqi-style shawarma served in pita bread and sammoun bread.
Previous experience in Iraqi shawarma is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates with experience in any style of shawarma are encouraged to apply, provided they have strong hands-on experience in shawarma preparation, rotisserie handling, and meat cutting/slicing.
Candidates must currently hold their own valid UAE visa.
The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, strong team spirit, discipline, and the flexibility to grow with the company as we expand in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare chicken and beef shawarma according to company recipes and SOPs.
- Operate and manage shawarma rotisserie machines efficiently.
- Perform proper shawarma meat cutting, slicing, and portioning during service.
- Assist in shawarma preparation, marination, skewering, and daily mise-en-place.
- Prepare and assemble shawarma sandwiches and platters using pita bread and sammoun bread.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and portion control.
- Follow company SOPs, recipes, and operational systems strictly.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced cloud kitchen / production kitchen environment.
- Cooperate closely with kitchen staff and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Support new menu development and future branch expansion when required.
- Assist with multitasking across different kitchen sections when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shawarma preparation and shawarma cutting/slicing.
- Experience in operating shawarma rotisserie machines.
- Experience in any style of shawarma (Lebanese, Syrian, Turkish, Iraqi, Arabic, etc.).
- Basic understanding of meat marination, grilling, slicing, and portion control.
- Experience in fast-paced restaurants or cloud kitchens preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining speed and quality.
- Willingness to follow structured SOPs and company systems.
- Candidates must hold a valid UAE visa (own visa preferred).
