SharePoint Engineer

The SharePoint Engineer plays a key role in delivering, supporting and continuously improving the Enterprise SharePoint service across BAE Systems UK and RoW.

Working closely with technical leadership, business stakeholders and internal customers.

The successful candidate will utilise both agile and traditional delivery approaches, manage issues and continuous improvement activities, and contribute to the development of best practices, processes and service quality standards to ensure an effective and reliable SharePoint environment.

Core duties:

• Deliver and support Enterprise SharePoint services across BAE Systems UK and RoW

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver SharePoint enhancements and solutions

• Ensure all SharePoint developments and deployments align with internal governance and standards

• Apply appropriate delivery methodologies, including Agile and traditional project approaches

• Resolve technical issues, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous service improvement

• Gather and utilise stakeholder feedback to measure effectiveness and enhance service delivery

• Contribute to the development of best practices, processes, and quality standards for SharePoint services
