What Would You Do?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Sewing Machine Operator. The successful candidate will be part of the Cut & Sew team and contribute to the efficiency of our operation.
The duties and responsibilities of this position would include
- Receive upholstery cover materials from the Team Leader to sew materials according to specifications and the Sewing Handbook.
- Receive cut materials and ensure bundles are accurate/correct prior to sewing.
- Communicate missing pieces to Team Leader.
- Check for defects/flaws in the materials and communicate with the Team Leader.
- Sewing Upholstery Cover Materials.
- Complete sewing the bundles when all pieces are correct, according to original product specifications.
- Identifying Completed Pieces.
- Ensure all completed pieces (units) have accurate product information attached.
- Place completed pieces into designated area.
